They literally removed the hard mode from the game for the EU & NA versions and only the JP version has hard mode. Zero Mission on Hard is way fucking more difficult than Fusion on Normal/Easy/Default.

The JP version came out after the other versions and had a bunch of improvements. It's the best version of the game because of hardmode and additional ending scenes.

It turns out the JP version has all the English text still in it, so you can find a patch that restores the English text.
