I'll give you 'hunger system', since that almost always devolves the game into just a protracted babysitting simulator, but stamina management means you actually have to use some strategy instead of just rushing in everywhere hacking/shooting like a madman. Weapon durability is likewise, so you can't just beat people over the head with your sword for fifty years and expect it to never break, though most games seem to go the other way and make weapons out of old tinfoil and glue
