Igavanias going exclusively handheld is to blame. GBA couldn't reuse the Rondo/Symphony assets so the series had to devolve before Aria could peak it again.

I know this is bring over talked about right now but hollow knight is pretty decent. My only wish is that they gave you different weapons to choose from.

i remember playing this as a kid on an emulator and really enjoying it. i purchased it on the ps3 store and got bored almost immediately. :p i prefer aria of sorrow.
