That's what i'm doing. I expected it to be bad but it seems it wasn't as bad as i remembered it. I thought the menu scrolling would be the thing to annoy the most but i had forgotten about the whole "MISS, MISS, MISS, MISS" THING, so yeah, that takes the cake desu.

Not sure. I just went through and did everything, visited all the secret areas at the appropriate levels, raised the grunties, filled out all the Ryu books, etc. It's the stuff I didn't quite finish when I was a kid, that's why I wanted to do it. You're probably right though, I think it barely added an hour or two to my total playtime, which was still 21hrs or so.
