I like DKC3 a lot but it has a lot of faggoty gimmick levels that I dread playing on every replay

It's underrated but still pales in comparison to 2 and even 1 in some regards.

Would have personally preferred Funky. The series was kind of leading up to him eventually being playable, and then nothing.

But it would have worked perfectly. Funky and all his gadgets would have easily let him double jump naturally for more vertical height, while dixie's used for slow falling and more horizontal reach. It would have been the perfect combination.

Then toss in an unlockable DK for killing enemies faster and Diddy for faster running, and you've got a perfect game.

Instead we got to skip across water in all of 2 levels because someone thought Dixie baby sitting an entire game would be fun.

DKC series is trash and DK94 is the best DK game.

Yeah it is. It's a combo of people hating kiddie kong and the fact that DKC3 came out during the SNES' last breath.

The GBA port is better than the original in my opinion. Granted some of the music is hit and miss but it's nice that Rare included a bunch of new levels in it.
