-Evo 2 Vermin are allowed 16 points and an ability, or 20 points and no ability.
-Evo 3 Vermin are allowed 20 points and an ability, or 25 points and no ability.

well. based on looks it seems like a defensive type, or self repairing type, but heals are kinda gay and op.
From the stats, I'd say his Fast is very low, so an ability that raises his Fast or lowers the enemy fast would work well. If you want something that's fair and not op, He could have a layer of shields against blast, maybe the first 5 blasts against him are ignored, and once the shields are gone he gains X amount of Fast since he is lighter.
Small version is really cute honestly I'd play him in an actual rpg, the middle one is lacking something imo, third one is solid graphically.

I like it, it gives mins personality, abilities tend to be somewhat situational and backfire depending on matchup, while pure stat mins are more well rounded or can be super scary when they stack one stat heavily.
There's no real meta, so even if someone goes super tryhard he can meet another tryhard min that negates his overpowered ability,
I just hope second evolutions and third evolutions have more natural stats than the previous evolution, if someone debuffs your stats too much, ability mins can become really weaksauce. Like first stage 150hp + X amount per life node, second stage 200hp + X amount per life node, third stage 250hp+ X amount per life node, etc.
