>>382597587

Thats the queen's buttplug.
>>382597587
Did you buy a Nintendo switch British import as an American
>>382597926
The fuck does that have to do with anything
get an adaptor
>>382597972
Are you dumb? Systems sold in Britain use British plugs.
>>382597972
Hurr durr because Americans have different plugs than brits hurr durr
>>382597972
Basically you need to buy an adaptor so your switch plug can fit into your (assumedly) United States socket
>>382597972
man kid the redcoats rekt you bro.
you put americans to shame
>>382597972
Are you fucking retarded? You can't plug british imports into american outlets.
>>382597972
You're very naive. Different countries have different electrical standards.
You need to buy a new adapter.

>>382597972
filthy dumb amerifat scum
>>382597587
It's the greatest socket ever made.
>>382598951
where did you buy it from
>>382598951
Well that you have to ask whoever you bought the system from.
>>382599107
>where did you buy it from
GameStop
>>382598951
No idea. You can either return it, or get a new cord. You should also check your system voltage is 110-240 or whatever, because if it's not and British people use the 240 volt you can wreck your system
>>382598951
How would we know that?
Sounds like its something you need to take up with the retailer you ordered it from alongside their stocking company.
Regardless, what you need to do is contact who you ordered this from and have them get you a American standard socket, obviously the one you have won't work and DONT try to make it work unless you want a dead switch and a voided warranty.
>>382598951
Because you (or the third party seller) imported the console from the United Kingdom or Malta
>>382599170
>>382599260
These guys know whats up.
>>382597587
It's a toy, you should lick it and try to press it into an American socket
>>382599482
>That betaboi in the reflection
>>382599062
Good thing that image is marked so I can see the superior choice.
>>382599597
holy shit a goomba
>>382600021
Hi dad, thanks for taking my picture at the beach.
>>382598807
>denmark has a happy face
But no seriously, why wasn't this one of the first things that were standardized? Plugs are one thing, but it's also voltages. Is this regional conditions determining this? Or just people being idiots and it never getting changed because systems were already set up and changing them now would be too costly?
>>382601107
Got it in one.
>>382601107
Bit of both. Electricity is enough of an old invention that standards weren't a thing back then. Each country just went with what they thought was the best system for them. It's too costly to change now.
>>382602805
Shame, though at least it's easily fixed with adapters. It would take everyones entire infrastructure being destroyed to be worth standardizing at this point. Or maybe a breakthrough with wireless electricity would completely change the game. Though it feels like a meme at this point, like cold fusion.
>>382597587
Lmao it's like when they sold me an orig Xbox with a fucking ps2 ac adapter
>>382603152
110V vs 230V can still cause problems with some appliances using an adapter.
