Here are my picks.

Though they may not all be duels of the kind where people of similar skill and size fight to the death, I still consider these to be the best "duels" in games. For me, size isn't an issue - as long as they're relatively humanoid with a humanoid move-set.

I don't consider fights against beasts/monsters to be duels, because they don't tend to have the same feeling to them.

Some are chosen for emotional depth, others are chosen for pure badassery alone.

Nameless King gets through because arguably the fight doesn't begin until after you kill his dragon and he is a humanoid figure who uses a weapon.

There are probably loads more who also deserve a spot, but I had to pick something.

Because God was going to restart all the suffering all over again if he didn't because God is a dick, so essentially he's acting like a babysitter. He had to wipe himself from everyones minds in order to make sure that no more Distortion Phenomenon happen again because that's what started this whole shit in the first place.

The restarting was always happening because she wanted him to come save her. However, her presence in the world opened up a whole bunch of problems for pretty obvious reasons.

Seriously, if you want to understand it then just play the games. If you play through CT > CSE > CPE > CF then you'll understand it as long as you're paying attention. Trying to explain it is a pain since there's a bunch of details involved.
