Mount and Blade: Warband.
Once you get into Kingdom vs Kingdom warfare, it's nothing but choices. The faction you're a part of, the lords you back, the villages you choose to raid/defend, the sieges you lay, which towns you setup enterprises in, the upgrades you give your towns, the battles/ militarycampaigns you pick/join/run from, quests you do etc etc etc. All can have a lasting effect on the economy, political climate and military campaigns going on in the world map.
