Since we are talking about dragon's dogma, Is there a mod that lets me use the dodge roll on any class?
I know you can play the game just fine with out it, but I just want to have it available

So would it be better to buy the ps3 version now or wait until the ps4 version?
Is the ps4 going to fix anything major? Was the frame rate shit on the ps3?
It's 15 bucks for the PS3 version, and from what I understand the ps4 version doesn't even have release date yet.
Convince me to wait or get it tomorrow while I'm out running errands.

Main story is actually pretty good (to conclusion, there's a reason it seems so generic) and BBI is great.
It's not for everyone though and it's definitely not perfect, so much cut content.

Pretty much the best rpg ever made in terms of gameplay. Steam sale definitely reinforced that in the last 2 weeks.
Picked up a couple crpgs, m&b, gothic 2, divinity 2, etc... All garbage in terms of gameplay compared to DD:DA.

Fuck yes it was.
I got to try it free on Playstation plus. The framerate constantly dips and is distracting as hell. I don't like to complain about framerate, but it's so damn noticeable.
The graphics won't have aged too well either. Trust me, the ps4 version will be worth the wait.
Also, to really enjoy the game, I reccomend sitting down and learnimg how to play first. It really does get better

That's what this game is. Hitting yourself in the cock with a hammer in video game form. Tediously slog back and forth between two boring, lifeless cities doing meaningless sidequests and fighting the same goblins and bandits every. Fucking. Time.

Both PS3 and 360 had sub 30fps, some vications abilities making it dip to single digits. Like most 7th gen games, PS3 version tended to run worse than 360, I'd recommend waiting on PS4 version for stability while playing, easier screenshotting, and for an actually active pawn database.

Portcrystals and ferrystones make that instantanous.

You stop really fighting them shortly after entering gransys, but combat doesn't really get good till BBI.

This is a jap game, there are key differences in game design philosophy with their definition of RPG, which means sidequests won't be as good as western rpgs.
as if western rpgs have any effort put into them at all either besides niche games like runescape or divinity original sin
The branches of the main quest are good and most sidequests are completed while doing them anyways.
