Crash 1 gets progressively worse. I'm on Slippery Slope and its a no fun zone. Plus I doubt I'm ever gonna manage to do the green gem. It's such a horrible level. I've got blue and yellow so far no problem.

This is "gameplay" according to most modern/popular games.

Meanwhile Crash, like most older games, requires the player to have good timing, judgment, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination and split second reflexes. If you aren't used to using any of those things, you're gonna get fucked pretty hard.

Rayman is pretty damn fun game. I play it 100% at least once a year and it's always fun.
Only part I still get fucked is that one cage in Caves of Skops, where you have to do very specific grapple jumps to get to the above ledge. You know which one I'm talking about.
Only boss I have issues with is the goddamn viking bitch with a washing machine, that shit is just beyond insane. The two flying shooty skanks final bosses are pretty nasty too tho.

I somehow got the blue gem on my first run in that level whrre you have to jump on the birds
