F-Zero would be a perfect fit for the risk/reward slider from Uprising and Smash 4.
Its cast of characters and setting are one I can see Sakurai handle well after seeing what he can do with Uprising.

Maximum Velocity was great, it had a really tight control feeling that the earlier SNES games didn't really have. It was basically an improvement on the original in every way.

Frankly, all I want is 30 racers screaming around a few dozen hard-ass tracks with the prettiest visuals the Switch can put out. Online would be cool but I don't give much of a fuck about it, to be honest. I've been playing GX since it launched and would love to see some new challenges.

Huge F-Zero fag here. I play GX at least once a week if I can.

Nintendo needs to do a new F-Zero. Bring back all the cups from GX/AX as unlockable plus a few new cups. Bring in between 10-15 new pilots along with all the pilots from GX/AX. All new story mode. Also, add in some online function if possible.

This one is a pipe dream but I wouldn't mind other Nintendo characters from space centered franchises to make guest appearances. Maybe Fox in his Arwing or Samus Aran in her gunship.

I think an HD remaster of GX would be the best at this point. Just add online and the ability to rewatch any interview you've unlocked.
