At 8 years old she avoids getting captured and indoctrinated by brainwashed feminist rangers by being rescued by Geralt, to whom she is ridiculously attached to due to a long history of DESTINY. He returns her home where shortly afterwards her protector and grandmother, who raised her to be a badass, kills herself as a distraction so she could get away as the entire kingdom gets ravaged by Nilfgaard. Ciri encounters Geralt where he pretty much sets in stone his position as a father figure to her, Triss establishes herself as a sister figure, Yen her mom, and the Witchers at Kaer Morhen as a bunch of weird older uncles who take her through boot camp - a fucked up situation that is accurately described by Phillipa in W3. This all somewhat takes place up to the point where she's like 12. She and Hjalmar fall in love until her grandmother puts an end to that she and she also has a nerd fall in love with her.

What follows is a life where she is taken away from her adopted family, goes on the run, and lives for years surrounded or chased by people who try, imply to want to, or successfully rape her:
- a gang of bandits she joins
- some crazed cannibal hermit
- her actual dad, who is supposed to be dead and for some ridiculous reason is also the Emperor of Nilfgaard
- nobles who run a fight/sex Club
- the king of the elves, the one that Eredin poisoned
- Vilgefortz
- a Nilfgaardian in her nightmares whom she blames for kidnapping her but in actuality he rescued her after falling in love
- all the sorceresses except Yen

About one week after being reunited with Geralt and Yen,and narrowly avoiding rape from her dad, Yen and Geralt die. And she goes on the run again... to avoid rape. Until the Isle of Mists.
