I think they need to take a look at their last patch too. Those summoning changes were jank.

I haven't touched it since the first alpha test when it was still part of the Microsoft exclusivity deal. I don't know how much it's changed.

I was super into this before the W10 exclusivity thing. Now that it's not any more, I can't seem to give a shit. Any reason to come back?

It's still the same game but the balance has shifted a lot since then. Several system mechanics in particular have changed drastically. It's also a bit less buggy.

I was super hyped and acutally managed to get into the closed beta early but optimization issues made me quit the game rather fast
But now that it's out it runs like a charm on my machine now it just needs to release a lot of characters and it could easily sit on the " really fun" side of the ASSFAGGOTS spectrum

The latest patch changed a lot of core mechanics. Most notably creatures now spawn/upgrade instantly after a slightly increased channeling time, but have had their HP cut down to compensate.
Every hero now has 100 stamina, with dodges taking 25 each. Attacking and using abilities no longer cost stamina, nor does sprinting or jumping outside of combat.

You get crowns, which is the coin currency, from winning matches, completing fortune cards and stuff. You get rubies from increasing your master rank of the different heroes, ranking up your account and from completing a full set of fortune cards. You can use crowns to unlock most things in the game, but some skins are unlockable with rubies only. Rubies are more valuable and is also the currency that you can buy for real money. Apparently they all still experimenting with the in-game currencies and prices of things so who knows how it'll change.
