That's what I largely meant, Sylux is clone only by virtue of replicating Samus' combat abilities as opposed to carrying the same DNA like Dark Samus and the SA-X. I typically don't care for and even think of clones being lazy at times, but Sylux being another Samus 'clone' comes off as exciting.

Well yeah but it is the PED suit that stores and manipulates phazon to use as weapons, that includes later unlocks like hyper missiles and whatever the fuck Samus does to kill the leviathans by shooting a huge ass laser out of her chest. Just because it's the same ammunition as the phazon suit's phazon beam doesn't discredit the PED suits value.

I'm hoping they expand Sylux's arsenal
Maybe make it a foil toward Samus'
