The Switch is, but the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro are just more powerful versions of the base consoles. Unless you count shit like the New 3DS also being a new console, they're still in the 8th gen.

Switch is probably, PS4 Pro/XBOX aren't.

I wouldn't call the Switch 9th gen just cause it's Nintendo's 2nd attempt at an 8th gen console.

I wouldn't count the Switch neither in a home console gen nor handheld gen. Right now I wouldn't count the Switch as anything.

If the Switch is successful and starts spawning other home/handheld hybrid consoles, then I'd consider it the 1st gen of hybrids.

Switch is the next generation of Nintendo console, but it doesn't necessarily define a console generation. If there's a PS5 and Xbox 123xyz release, and the switch carries on though that, then sure, maybe.

I don't think that any of those are games you couldn't play on the older 3DS model (except Xenoblade). Heck, several were out before N3DS was even released.
