My only problem with the NOA version is that Marie comes off as more of a cunt than the other versions.

Really, the UK English version is the best version. She's still snarky, but she's not actively trying to be a cunt to Callie. The lines are also more accurately translated across, whereas the NOA version took a lot of liberties and created their own lines (as usual really).

I'm serious. If you listen to most of the Squid Sister's songs, not only does Marie typically have more solo bits, but her vocal range is actually a lot broader than Callie's. Callie tends to stay in her usual high pitched sort of talking/sort of singing voice, while Marie really hits some great notes and adds little embellishes here and there.

Also, Tide Goes Out is just objectively superior to Bomb Rush Blush. There's no denying it.

It may have just been for tourney play, but during the E3 tourney, the players could choose different weapons before a match.

Map rotation is coming back, but it's only every 2 hours now instead of 4 hours. While I get your frustration, putting in a voting system would just result in people choosing the same maps over and over again which would get boring as all fuck. If I wanted that, then I'd just play de_dust in CS all day.

Not sure on details for clothing stats, but it's supposedly going to be a lot more open this time around, especially in regards to all abilities being available to all clothing types (some abilities were only locked to shoes, etc).

I'm going to say that if you didn't really like Splat1, then Splat2 may not be for you. I'd recommend at least giving it a try though. Maybe buy it, play it for a week, and then refund it if you really can't stand it.

It's still going to be kinda random, but manipulable this time. You don't reroll gear anymore, you get the slots removed from the gear and are given a "shard" of each ability. When you get X number of the same kind of shard, you can just put that sub directly onto your gear.

See the map rotation could be done on a far better way. Like if a map gets voted on then it goes to the back of the list and doesn't pop up for voting for a good while. Sorta like how halo did it. The gameplay is fun, but the first just had a ton of glaring flaws that took enjoyment away from me. Are the matches still extremely short?
