I've played games like resistance & liberation and insurgency way more than cs past 2002

Insurgency, Rising Storm, the Vietnam expansion, they're all glorified Call of Duties if you ask me. Fast-paced Twitch shooters with incredibly low TTKs, no emphasis on teamwork and whatever objective-based gameplay there is usually takes a backseat to the combat.

Insurgency is much closer to a milsim

LMGs in Insurgency are basically an ultra-specialised weapon that virtually nobody uses properly. The few people that use an M60 well as a long distant support role don't add up to an overpowered weapon. Every other LMG is insurgent-tier horseshit.

Insurgency would be greatly improved by reworking damage, armor and AP ammo. As it stands AP ammo with an assault rifle kills everything in one shot and armor is absolutely useless.
