It's a masterpiece.

It was literally the greatest thing ever back during release. It was the Skyrim of its time, only actually good. The feeling of being on a 3D adventure in a fantasy world was absolutely mindblowing.

Still pretty great, but time has defintitely taken its toll.

I played the 3DS version back in 2011 after playing WW, TP, and SS as far as 3D Zeldas go.

I think it's by far the best 3D Zelda. I'd say it's the best Zelda, but LTTP and LA exist. It's still a wonderful game that has withstood the test of time

It's mediocre and aged badly just like every Zelda game

Ocarina of Time will remain the most revolutionary Zelda game of the franchise because everything about it is still solid to this day. Of course, despite how revolutionary it is, it was born in the early days of 3D gaming, which itself hasn't aged so well. So while it is still solid, it's now only a good game and not so much the groundbreaking masterpiece it was at the time. But so many games owe their lives to this game, so it's logical to respect it

But the series will never reach this amount of praise ever again. Only BotW has come close, and that one is only any revolutionary to its own series than gaming as a whole

I love ALBW myself fourth favorite game in the series, but it owes a lot of the reason of why it was so enjoyable all came from ALttP and Ocarina. It wasn't really pushing any boundaries

A large part of what made ALBW so good was its revival of 2D Zelda. The last bona fide 2D Zelda came out 10 years prior with Minish Cap.

Expect Samus Returns to yield the same results.

I hate that OoT is like one of the few games that gets a pass, it's such a boring game with like a few cool moments. The worst part is I know I would of enjoyed it as much if I was like 6 but it ain't the 90's anymore.
