You don't really have to, but you should. If anything you should play Blood Omen last because then you'll instantly recognise all of the foreshadowing it has for its sequels and how seemingly small details became greater expanded upon.

Really doesn't matter where you start. Play whichever interests you the most first. I personally started with Blood Omen 2 (which I liked, but everyone seems to hate lol), then Soul Reaver, Defiance, Soul Reaver 2. Haven't played Blood Omen yet.

That's actually pretty cool, I used to own a Dreamcast at one point.
I played Soul Reaver 1 before I had the DC, but I picked up Soul Reaver's DC copy.
It's a series that's been with me for a long time, and something I could never forget.
I think it's pretty good that more and more people are being introduced to it, too.

I think it's kind of funny how I've never played Blood Omen 1 myself.
I've only played it for like a little bit, but that's all I played it for.
I should try and get a hold of it, so I could play it.
I've played all of the other games, so it would be pretty nice to instantly recognize
