I've heard that in Japan they're bundling Splatoon 2 with the Switch, so that might increase your chances of being able to get your hands on the game and the console at the same time. Whether or not it'll be sold outside of Japan, I don't know; it's fair to assume that, though.

If you can't find a Switch in your local area, and you're desperate enough, you can find it online and purchase it from another country. It's not too bad since the console itself lacks region locking.

If you don't want to spend all that money for cross-country shipping, I'd say just give your local video game store or retailer a call and see if they know when they will be receiving another shipment or if they have any other bundles or deals.

United States. I live in a relatively small town so it wasn't too tough to get my hands on a Switch, but I wouldn't understand the struggle elsewhere. I hope Nintendo increases production, if possible or practical.

The Splatoon 2 bundle is also available in Europe. It's likely to be sold out though because Splatoon 2 is a big game and SMO is coming.

Yeah, that's a pretty fair assumption. I guess other bundles might be made for the more popular games as well, but those'll still be just as hard to find.
