Titanfall 2 fixed the sins of T1, it also paid for the sins of T1.

The game has literal autoaim where it not only snaps to targets but also the hitboxes or hit detection is so lenient that it counts misses far infront or behind the player as hits making it so basically you dont even have to aim , just fire in their general direction .
Then the fucking braindead jumping and parkour making it look like overwatch wallriding takes skill.
Then you have other garbage that completely makes the game unworthy of spending time on - the fucking retarded invisibility mechanic in a game wih ridiculously low time to kill with any weapon and the fact that you even need to aim, yeah it really gels together for this shitshow designed game

Last two maps are shit

The first one was pretty good (although all the DLC was crap). All of the changes in 2 looked bad to me, they looked like really minor things which were just straight up worse. They all added up though, given it was just a sequel I didn't need.

Plus these days I don't support DLC. I should have stopped a long time ago, but these days I just straight up will not buy a multiplayer game with DLC because I know there's more than a strong chance the core elements, playerbase, map rotation, etc. will change. I will only buy a game which is a finished product, and where I know what I'm getting. So basically, I don't support multiplayer DLC games. I don't care if singleplayer has it, I just wont buy it.

The DLC is all a forced download. (Or in normal terms, an update.)

So there's no disparity between who downloaded it or not, everyone has it if they're playing online. Doesn't that solve your issue, or did I misunderstand you?

Cloak ability basically turns you into a grey silhouette, and yes for consoles the aim assist is pretty retarded. Also if you actually learned how to use the movement system instead of walking everywhere you would know how the amount of speed you can obtain can make you a fucking hard as hell target to hit. It's fast, low-g actually makes 2 different playstyles in the same make. It takes skill to navigate low-g keeping momentum.

The game feel is great and there is no melee = kill bullshit.

The problem is that it takes 5+ hours to get used to all the new mechanica. (people usually forget about blinsfiring to impulsd themselves through low-g)

The 'new' map is just overkill to me. There won't be a single anus I haven't buried myself inches into with how fast and how high I can soar there. Urban environments with low ceilings and many windows in the walls are the death of me, though.

Out of 9 game modes, only 2 feature AI.

On PC:
R97 is complete babby mode.
Alternator and CAR are still way too good.

Everything else is largely reigned in at this point. Devotion got nerfed into the ground as it deserved.
Mastiff is good now. Volt is back to being decent.
