Not really. But if you must, I'd recommend purchasing one from a big box store so you have the possibility of returning it, rather than going balls deep and selling your PS4 for it if you're not sure of the purchase.

Or assuming you don't have a PC since you're interested in multiplats, I'd just save up for the Xbox One X.

Xbone plays multiplats worse. S improved framerates by like 5% compared to the first Boner but a lot of games still run 900p on Xbone but 1080p on PS4. Framerates are usually the same or very similar so that issue is negligible. 360 and OG Xbox played multiplats best which is what I think you're mixing this up with.

Only get it if you really want halo or forza or really want to watch 4k Blurays. Otherwise it'll have the exact same stuff minus the niche JP games but run them a little worse.

This. Only console I've ever let go of is my PS2 Slim, and that's because I got a launch PS3 (which can play all the PS2 games). When that PS3 got a flashing red light of death, I just paid to have it reballed. Best 120 bucks I ever spent, even though Sony tried to offer me a whopping 40 bucks off the price if I wanted to trade it in for a Super Slim.

Since you specifically mentioned halo and forza in the OP, wait until black friday and pick one up then.
Last year they had minecraft Xbone S bundles going for $200 new, so this year they'll probably have something very similar at the same price, same price but with 2 games instead of 1 or maybe the same bundle but a bit lower.

You can get an Xbone S on Amazon for 200 bucks if you really want it, but why not just get a PC? Literally every Xbone game except for 2 are on PC, AND PC also has shit like Steam, Humble Bundle, Origin, etc.

I still think Killer Instinct and Forza Horizon 3 are the best games of their genre right now. I'd say they're worth getting an Xbox for, but trading in your PS4 for it?

If you're already going to spend $120 for a refurbed last gen console, why not just wait for the current gen Xbone to hit $200 again that'll play those 360 games and Xbone games for $80 more? I actually found a 360 on ebay for like 30 bucks. It's one of the first, though. Nothing short of a miracle if it still works like the dude claims it does.

I would say the reason to get one would be for the full library of 360 games, rather than what MS allows you to have. Of course, there are very few 360 games that I would want that aren't available on the PS3 (at which point, get a launch PS3 and get it reballed so that it will last you forever).

OP here, I am travelling through Australia and now I'm stuck in Adelaide for a few months. I am a PC gamer originally, but now I have a dell xps 15 which is not very powerful.
