Better than Athena

Terrible new villain when it should have been Zak.

Worst filler cases and most annoying gag characters. Wocky, Stickler, Spark Brushell, and everybody from case 3 can go die.

Klavier obviously fails as an antagonist, and also fails as a """cool nice guy""" because of case 3.

Didn't like him at all in AA4. Story didn't do much at all with him, and despite being in his POV we rarely ever get a chance to get into his head, and the moments where I wanted to see how he reacted to things happens off screen (like the backstory of case 4).

Grew to enjoy him greatly in AA5 though, that speech he makes about wanting to trust Athena really endeared me to him,

AA6 however....yeeeaaah... I don't really think he should had been involved at all in the main plot. 6-2 was a fine case, but they really should had kept him out of the whole Khruain business and resolved his character in AA7 in a plot specially built around him.

Now that Apollo has left the Wright anything office I worry about the duos we'll get in the next game. Athena and Apollo were great as an investigation team with their chemistry and banter.
Now that that's no longer possible I hope that they don't try to force Ms. Magic Panties everywhere. She's an awful partner character.

Pair up Athena and Nick for most of the cases like the orca DLC case and call it a day.

I wish they would start again with a fresh cast of characters and aa4 should have been Nick's last appearance in the series.
There's no reason for Nick to still be a protagonist as his character development ended in the third game and neither Atena or Apollo are interesting enough to carry a game by themselves.
Sadly I know we will never move to a new group of characters as the aa series is the puzzle game equivalent of a shonen anime.

Didn't have much of a personality in AA4
Grew more as a character in AA5
Became the GOAT In AA6 and led it to being one of the best games in the series.

Did people not like apollo justice? I thought it had one of the best over arching stories in the series. Also seeing hobo nick hang about was enjoyable. What would have made the game better if you disliked it?

Think it all depends on how you view 4-4. I liked the case a lot and think the game is underrated. Has a good atmosphere.
