souls games are the ONLY ones that have had this lasting impact here because for the vast majority here it was their first "real" game when it got ported to PC. Nioh is a new IP from a dev most people don't care about, so no it's not going to be discussed on the hivemind for souls games.

look at the difference between the nioh general (when it existed) and the souls general. souls shit survives because people here are expected to like it so they discuss the SAME EXACT shit every single day all day. Nioh and most new IPS aren't a part of the hivemind so the discussion of them doesn't get dragged on needlessly when they are games with finite content
