Destroy All Humans was always a hit or miss series but I grew up playing the games and I have a soft spot for them as a result.

Monster Rancher was good because of its gimmick to unlock monsters from CDs. That's not really a thing you can do anymore because PSX was one of the only consoles that allowed you to remove the game from the system without fucking anything up.

They were all at the very least average games, which that fact alone makes them far better than anything we get today in the JRPGish genre.

I'd love to see what they could do today with all the sim games we have, the castle management side of the game could be enormous.
