No one plays characters like yoshi and nina because they're too much work for what they are able to do. That's what top 8s all you see are dragunovs, kazuya Steve etc. it's been this way for awhile now

Honestly this and I think it's a real problem because the character is so cool but is such a bitch to learn that it's really not worth it. Say what you want about NRS games, but at least their characters you can pick up and play after just a few minutes of practice. I wish it was that way with Yoshi.

I am unable to pick a main. I switch every day because i like too many, and i dont have any connection to nor enough conviction to stick to one. I have this problem in every fg and it hinders my progress a lot. I don't get how people 'click' with characters or however else people decide on their favorite

There are characters that are easier for beginners but just pick anyone that looks fun to play, you don't have to play the character using the hardest, most damaging combos.

Katarina is literally "mash circle to combo" but will likely teach you bad habits if if it's your first Tekken. Shaheen is said to be easy too but idk.
