You mean just a regular remake. There's no point in adding in "HD" because it's not a remaster, the graphics as they are can't really be improved without overhauling the game from the ground up.

He then right there decides to fuck the world, he floats back up to OR/Alpha Weltall and magically enshrouds himself in the Grahf gear that we all know and love.

He declares his twisted motives right then and there dude.

Which will never happen. Despite a fairly shocking amount of outcry over the decades for a Xenogears remake, we all know Square sucks shit when it comes to IP's and won't do anything.

You're not remembering it correctly, but I'm not also describing it correctly. It's all presented quickly, and theres little there to tell you how much time passes between her death and his actual contact with the zohar.

But before he ever reaches the zohar, he was already twisted and warped. He went on a quest of madness after she perished which eventually lead to his turning into Grahf. How long of a time passes during that, I don't recall.

But my initial statement still stands, it doesn't matter if he contacted the zohar or not, his own mental debilitation was such a state that he was already like this. Which is most likely the reason he was able to contact the zohar and remain mostly himself. If anything, becoming Grahf only solidified his initial thoughts and feelings.

It wasn't like Fei and ID where there was a stark contrast. Lacan and Grahf were one and the same and both wanted the same thing.

it was 9500 when Sophia died, and it was 9501 when Lacan met Miang and she told him about the Zohar. but he was already too far gone at that point anyways.
