I think most dq games play better on handheld but dragonquest 8 just works better as a console game it has a different feel and look then the others.

started playing ix on desmume and its pretty damn good. I never really liked the games untill I emulated the more recent ones. new one on ps4 looks good hope it doesnt take more than a year to get to burgerland

Last time I played DQVIII was 10 years ago on a real PS2, game crashed outside the cassino when I was supposed to battle with an octopus and never recovered.

I'm heavily tempted to try it out again on an emulator.

Just got a PS1 emulator, wanna try Breath of Fire 4 since it got a lot of praise in a thread last night and it's the only one I didn't play.

I enjoyed having either the PS2 or 3DS available. If I want the comfy music and graphics, I can boot up the PS2. If I want the fun camera feature and Morrie, I can play 3DS.
