Pt. 2

The clone started doing things I had never seen an Oblivion character do. Wait! No, I'm going down the creepypasta "lol so sp00ky" route, just hear me out. These were simply strange AI behaviors. For example, he would randomly switch between armor sets seemingly on whim, as I had a shit ton of gear on me at all times (and fyi he did it too frequently for it to be a durability issue). He would also switch between faction dialogue in random sets: for example, one minute he would say all Dark Brotherhood dialogue like "Why Brother, Why?" and the next he'd be saying Blades shit like "I'm sworn to die, are you?"

While challenging, I was eventually able to overpower and kill the clone using the garrison of the Imperial City, although it was costly for the civilian population. This first clone was just a test run, though. Now it was time for the real thing. This time I purposefully stocked up on all the best shit I could carry and performed the glitch again. This time, after a brief fight, the clone used an invisibility spell. I hunted him down all throughout the Bruma countryside, though it was hard at times because he wore Shrouded Armor and my Ring of Khajiiti (which gave him a Chameleon effect). It was at this time that my XBL friends gave the clone a name that stuck: due to being generally evil and preferring darker-colored equipment, he was dubbed "Nickies Black." Yes, that's referencing what you think it is.

Pt. 3

I hunted Black down for a week of real-time gaming sessions every night. I had him on the ropes a few times, but he always used an Invis spell and ran whenever the going got tough. Alarmingly, he was not only steadily equipping better gear as time went on, but he was also slowly starting to use my better spells. Worse of all, he put on my Mundane Ring (brought Breton Magic Resistance up to 100%), nullifying my possible DPS output on him in the form of Magic. Eventually, the worse possible scenario happened. Black equipped my 100% Damage Reflect loadout, while still keeping on the Mundane Ring. Not. Good. I could barely even damage him now (I was pretty shit with bows and poisons). My main hope came from the Guards in cities, whose Silver Arrows could still hurt him, but barely. I tried bringing him through every city in the game. My hope was that eventually the sheer number of arrows would overwhelm his ability to heal himself. At Skingrad, I was proven right. The guards gangraped him to such an extent that he actually died. Satisfied, I left. When I returned to Skingrad a few weeks later, I found the city desolate, and Nickies Black alive and well. He fucking RESPAWNS.

Anvil was the last city still alive, and it failed to kill him. I had no major strongholds left. I even tried Cloud Ruler Temple, but the Blades didn't do shit to him. I guess that's why they were all dead in Skyrim. At this point I'd be surprised if even 10% of Unique NPCs were still alive in my save. I had to kill Black somehow. I had to prevent him from respawning, and kill him personally.

Then, a thought occurred to me. I was thinking about the Skull of Corruption when I remembered that the dungeon involved in Vaermina's Daedric Quest, Arkved's Tower, had a void in one area that automatically killed whatever fell into it. I'm talking about a scripted, unavoidable even with God Mode on PC, absolute Death. I lured Black into the dungeon, to the thing that spawned him, and tricked him into falling in. His health bar disappeared; he was dead. This time, he body wouldn't be able to respawn (or if it did, it'd be on the Kill Script Activator and he'd just die again). For good measure, I threw in the Skull of Corruption into the sea so I couldn't make this mistake again. Admittedly, I could have just went and taken the Skull again and nullified Black's permanency at any time, but I felt like that was cheating and refrained from it. Either way, it was all over now.

So I went and dicked around in Cyrodiil for a time, mainly looking at the desolate cities and wondering if the save was worth continuing playing on. About a month passed irl. For those who don't know, I posted about this much on /v/ and it became a bit of a joke here. I was bored one day and admittedly wanted to cash in on the joke further, so I went back to Arkved's Void, thinking I could stage something cool and continue the joke.

I was wrong.

There stood Nickies Black. Alive. On top of the bridge overlooking the void. He was pissed, too. He attacked me, but since we both had 100% Reflect Damage and Resist Magic on, we couldn't do shit to one another.

Pt. 5

The fight spilled out into the Wilderness and eventually I gave up and fled. I tried looking for the Skull again but I either couldn't find it or it despawned. Now I couldn't end the glitch that way even if I wanted to - and I did want to, since Black dying at Arved's Tower would have been a perfect storybook ending. I now had to accept that I couldn't kill this ... thing... permanently. I realized that the best I could do... is contain him. I came up with a plan. I was going to stop a monster born from a Glitch... with another glitch.

I brought him to the Wizard's Tower (Frostcrag Spire), lured him into the second floor, on top of the alchemy garden, and deleted the Wizard's Tower DLC. Those familiar with Oblivion glitches know where this was going. We were both thrown into a Bethesda test cell: a small Bruma house test. It wasn't enough to leave him here, though, otherwise he'd reappear in the Tower when I reinstalled the DLC. I brought him out in to the exterior Test area (you know, the one with the Mace of Doom) and sought to kill him there. After painstaking effort, a shit ton of poisons, and the battle moving to a test copy of Cloud Ruler Temple, I finally killed Nickies Black. For good measure and my own satisfaction, I placed the Gauntlets of the Crusader, which in-lore couldn't be moved by anyone unworthy (and I had long since lost my worthiness), on top of him, and fast travelled away. My journey in this save was over.

I'm sure Nickies Black has long since respawned by now. It doesn't matter much. He's stuck there, in that test cell, forever. Despite killing most of the game's unique population, he ultimately failed in eradicating both it and me. He's trapped in the underbelly of this game, in the bowels of sloppy development, and he's never getting out. I hope.

I can give screenshots or game clips via Xbox DVR to prove my story, as I played most of it on the 360 version on an Xbone.

tl;dr An Oblivion PC Clone nearly wiped out the entire population of my save before I trapped him in one of Todd's test cells.

I can go into more detail about his odd behavior cycles, like how he'd go from angry to hostile to mellow to friendly, repeating, and things like that. But enough of my stories, let's hear all of yours. You know you have one story that's worth sharing.

This is from a round of Space Station 13, memorable enough that I jotted it down in my college notebook years back. I call it, "The Perfect Dick" (because dick = detective, get it, get it!)

When the round started I immediately wrote on a paper "I, Detective Devin Adams, am a traitor, and I'm stealing the blueprints to fuel my smoking habit!" and shut it away in my safe.

Word on the Sec channel was that somebody in engineering was a suspected traitor. So I went to engineering, greeted them as I entered, and asked the C.E. to chat. Also mistook female CE for a man.
I convinced her that the HoS wanted her to cycle some staff so that Sec. could screen them, and to stall the traitor. I also said that the HoS wanted all "classified" documents secured, and to have a head-of-staff meeting.
(No part of any of that was true)
She agreed, and HANDED ME the blueprints.

I immediately returned to my office, secured the blueprints in the safe with my note...and felt an odd sensation run through me as I realized I had completed my goal within 5 minutes of the round starting. A flurry of ideas came to my mind, and I realized what must be done: I must make this heist as over-the-top as possible. The method? Leave all of the self-incriminating evidence against myself on the escape shuttle.

Once this thought was established I quickly continued on to security, and called for a private meeting with the HoS. We met, and I played up the detective role; smoking, salutes and nods, taking off the hat and shades as we talked.
In the time I had been in my office there was trouble in engineering, making my story more convincing.

I told the HoS that the CE wanted to meet (not true), but was unaware of her current status.
Somebody on the radio then blurted the singulo was loose, and our meeting was done.

I went back to my office, and sat comfortably.
I jumped on the camera monitor to catch-up on the CE, and tuned-in just in time to watch the HoS arrive in engineering, and save somebody from another traitor.
Beautiful: my story to the CE and HoS was now real!

While on the cams, I took a picture of the HoS and the CE together.
And then, one of myself, holding the station blue prints in my hands.
I put these pictures, my note from the start of the round, my revolver, and an audio-recording of myself explaining my plan's execution (with some gloating about how I manipulated them both) into my briefcase.

I was playing Rain World, and the rain was coming. When the rain comes, you die. So you need to find shelter.
I'd found a shelter, but it was inhabited by one of the giant flying centipedes which stalk this region. These centipedes are dangerous motherfuckers at the best of times, but I had no weapon, and with the rain so close I had no time to find one.
I remembered the scavengers I'd met close by. Scavengers have many weapons, and they're fond of various knick-knacks you can pick up. I went back to where they'd been gathered -- and luckily one still straggled there. I regurgitated a glowing bulb, and handed it to him, and in return he gave me three or four sharpened lengths of rebar. By this point the world had turned grey and the rain was seconds from starting. There wasn't enough time to carry more than one spear. I scurried back into my shelter and the ground was already shaking.
I found the centipede sleeping. I crept close to it. Then I drove the spear into its body -- it reared up but I pulled the spear out and stabbed it again, and again, and again, until it was dead, and then I stabbed some more. Then I used his body as a pillow as I slept away the rainy season.

this one time while I was playing Halo 2 by myself since I never touched xbox live with a fifty dozen foot pole someone joined one of my multiplayer matches

I used it mostly just to walk around and dick around out of boredom, did not expect to see something else in there; it was some gibberish name with an X 1 and 2 in it along with some other random characters but I know at least an X was in there 100%

not really a story but I know it happened and I know it was impossible for that xbox to have had online connection at that time, didn't even have wifi in the house at the time I think.
