Undertale is not deep. It is not thoughtful. It does not give any solid point. It does not discuss any complex philosophical complex.

It's a naive SJW try-hard deep thought provoking game wannabe. It was meant to be thoughtful and wise and shit, but creating something wise requires wisdom, and the developer lacked it.

There is nothing about Undertale that is hard to understand. People don't appreciate it not because of the depth, but because of the lack of it in a game that was shilled as innovative and thought provoking.

I do not hate it. I just hate when indies who made bank on their low effort game don't try to go back and spend some of that well earned wealth to update the graphics and gameplay a little more. IF they don't have the time to do that, that meant they weren't trying to make a respectful game in the first place. Just a cash grab. Undertale was a kickstarter game, so the creator already did not have enough passion or integrity to invest his own money into making it.

It was nice. Everyone was just enjoying the music and Earthbound vibe and talking about how neat the concept was. Also I remember a lot of Toriel lewds.

Pirate and finished it just to see what the fuzz was all about.
It was a pretty good game for what it offered, looking for solutions to every fight was nice, never felt like it was trying to be 2deep4me, story is pretty straighfordward.

The main reason I just didn't like Undertale was because it's boring as fuck for an RPG. It had such a great battle system, but since the whole game's point is for you not to battle it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I played it a full three times for every ending, but the game really only got easier than it already was at that point. I could beat the whole game in about two hours since all of the enemies attacks and patterns remain the sames.
