What's concerning me the most is the fact it's the PS3 version that will be emulated. The PS3 version of RDR was visually downgraded due the PS3 being unable to handle multiplats well (thanks Cell) so while I'm personally glad more people will play it, I'm not so happy that it's the inferior version.

Maybe, but if the end result is a higher framerate and better graphics than both the ps3 and xbox 360 versions, then why does it matter? Even if it were only better looking than the ps3 version, which it automatically will be, and adding to that the improved framerate...plenty of people will have played a worse version than that.
