Sometimes I just wanna press a button and watch a cool animation. Nothing inherently wrong with that, considering GoW series is pretty heavy on QTE finishers anyway. Nobody should be surprised by this. Don't like it, don't buy it.

QTEs in any form are a terrible practice, there's nothing wrong with wanting some spectacle in the fight, but you should always try to give the player involvement beyond pressing a single button to initiate a death animation. There's no reason to disallow the player to control the swing of their axe in these death animation QTE webms.
