How did Nintendo win against so much negativity and cynicism from the gaming community?
Can Xbox one X do the same?
Why doesn't the kid look happy?

Deportation's imminent

because he knows her mother isn't going to spend 350 bucks on a console
>>382434902
Probably hitting that awkward phase.

Does this contest scenario give the console pre ordered in full or just the opportunity to pre order?
>>382434902
Because he was getting the fucking thing for free anyway and the mother is only mildly grateful she saves a few hundred bucks off what is probably child support money anyway.
>>382433949
wtf is a free pre order?
Do you have to pay to pre order stuff (for which you have to pay)?

>>382435026
Isn't it that he gets the Switch free when it comes in?
>>382435164
I'm going to say in full considering a pre-order can be a deposit of any amount from the minimum to full price.
>>382435223
For games you have to put minimum $5 down, unless they raised it, I haven't been to a GS in years. I bet for consoles it's even more.

ICE gonna get him anyway

>paying to preorder
What?
>>382435398
So you pay to be able to pay? What?
>>382433949
>free preorder
But he still has to pay it or?
>>382435463
It's a way for the store to A) make money on effectively no transaction since typically people who preorder don't buy anything and B) "guarantee" a sale in the future. It's basically how physical locations can afford to stay open.

The money goes toward the purchase of the game anon, no additional money or whatever.
