This was one of the earlier seasons so it's less prevelant but Clone Wars just had an absolutely fuckhuge budget and was literally always bleeding money because ol' George Lucas just wanted the show to be as good as possible.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but it at least looks better than the first EA entry.

My prediction is that the game will be average to decent but cost way more money than it's worth and not have enough content to justify the price - and this isn't even counting the inevitable DLC.

Kanan is a 10/10 Jedi exile rediscovering his trust in others and strength in the force.

The crew of the Ghost is fine. Most have annoying kids show quirks but they're not hateable like you might hate, I don't know, Gungans or Rey. You can buy them being a family.

The villains except the second batch of Inquisitors are all good but those were just fodder for Ahsoka, Maul and Kanan to style on.

Ezra is a decent MC despite his cliches.

The guest stars from the films and the Clone Wars cartoon are all great.

The Bendu is dumb and fun.

Continuity porn and EU nods.

Resolves the Darth Maul vs Obi-Wan story in an unexpected and actually kind of heavy way.

I've noticed a trend with sequels, regardless of the medium. When something isn't quite as good as whatever came before it some people will overact as though it was completely shit. I think that's a little unfair, sometimes.

Regardless, how the end fight resolved itself was terrible. Maul, weakened over the years and blindly wasting his energy in the desert to find Obi-Wan then die in three strikes of a lightsaber to Obi-Wan was beyond anti-climatic. Especially since TCW and Son of Dathomir show us Maul wanted revenge against Sidious as much as he did against Obi_Wan.
