She's not bad. She's a fairly standard Berserker with 3x Buster, but with an AOE NP rather than a standard single-target one. She has a DEF buff skill as her first one, which kind of helps to mitigate the weakness but really is only partially successful.

She has been working pretty well with Saint George, though, who can redirect enemy attacks towards him.

The biggest difference is that Cu Lancer gets guts at the start and evasion at first ascension, while Cu Prototype gets a crit damage up at the start and evasion at first ascension. (Cu Caster is the same way.) Obviously, guts/evade is far better than guts with a chance at bonus crit damage, so Cu Lancer is far preferred.

She's a servant that is at her best early on because of her multipliers and reverse S growth. Later on, when you start being able to rank up the skills, she falls off really hard because hers are utter shit while units like Waver see the potency of his buffs almost double and their CD reduced. On top of that some units have her NP's team-wide invulnerability (a 3* and another 5*) as a skill which doesn't stun them, making her even less needed.

The thing that makes Jannu still pretty good later on is when you throw her with waver or merlin, so you can essentially throw out her NP every 2-3 turns and never have to worry about your team's health or getting killed by a NP again.
Of course, Waver and Merlin make any servant good, so that's not saying a ton. Jannu is a good compliment to waver early on though because of his lack of heals.
