Have difficulty options. All of them vary on how each AI thinks and what skills they use. The higher the difficulty, the more cheap enemies will be in placement, moveset, and group tactics (and punishing exploits). You still take the same amount of damage and have the same upgrades and health.

How quaint.
Consider how adding difficulty options to
a game would be like getting a dog fixed.
i would prefer developers to make standard mode, then a hardmode.
i hate it when games have like 6 difficulty options when it just increments some stats.
hardmodes that add new mechanics and gameplay to a already hard game is what i like.

That's Courage you fool.

wowo op ur so smart thank u for making gaming great again xD
>>382418072
In easier difficulties enemies constantly insult you for being such a pussy faggot
>>382418737
>Have difficulty options.
No - developers should have a vision for the difficulty, and people should experience the game at that difficulty.
>All of them vary on how each AI thinks and what skills they use. The higher the difficulty, the more cheap enemies will be in placement, moveset, and group tactics (and punishing exploits).
There would just be cries of 'artificial difficulty' anyways.
>Easy = Brain Dead Option
>Normal = Easy
>Hard = Enemies just kill you in two hits
>every game has bullet sponges
No thanks
>>382418072
Difficulty option is fine, the real cancer is when you´re able to change the difficulty after you´ve already created your save file.
>>382419998
What's wrong with being able to change the difficulty if you find it a bit too easy or hard later on?
>>382418072
>make games more difficult
>late-stage capitalism is still sucking the soul out of all artistic ventures
you solve nothing
>>382420113
its feels wrong.
u selected that difficulty, so you either finish it, bearing all, or suffer the consequences (restarting).
if u can freely change difficulty there is no certainty to the game. why suffer mild inconveniences or trouble when u can change the diff. WOW i finished the game on hard, oh wait i remember changing it to easy a few times. the point of difficulty is to finish the game on a set difficulty, not change it whever it suits u
>>382420113
It feels like i have access to official cheat codes to make it easier whenever i want. It removes the whole point and satisfaction.
Inb4
>But you don´t have to use it
Well, i´m the kind of guy who would play on the hardest difficulty and then use/exploit everything possible to make it easier.
>>382420378
>>382420437
Well how am I supposed to know what difficulty suits me the best at the start of the game?
>there are people who don't play games on Normal their first time
>>382420378
Also this.
>>382420113
being able to increase difficulty i think is a good thing
just make the base difficulty actually difficult and the real good guys can go to the next level if they want
>>382420437
*the dude who posted above u*
in regards to the >you dont have to use it
i take pleasure when i finish a difficult game also because of the community and friends. when i tell a friend i finish the game on hard, i dont want him to be skeptical, or vice versa.
>>382420205
And communism censors art and enforces propaganda what's your point
>>382420472
i usually always play on normal. if its a genre or franchise im familiar with, i select higher. ur just gonna have to bite the bullet with that one, im afraid.
