What the fuck are you smoking there is less than 20 minutes of cutscenes in the entire game the longest cutscene when you meet Samuel is less than 3 minutes long and covers pretty much the entire plot. The vast majority of the story is kept to log entries which are completely optional.

Compared to 90's shooters sure but its still much faster than the generic military garbage and most recent shooters.
