Yep. Goes basically from the end of Dragon Ball to the end of the Saiyan Saga. Bunch of filler stuff in between, but it's okay. It has a good length to it for an RPG like it.

The game is an RPG, yeah. It's probably the most traditional RPG that any DBZ game has ever been. There's action commands and stuff too. There were games like the NES games and Legendary Super Warriors that were RPGs, but they didn't get as traditional as AotS gets.

You can use cool combination moves when characters limit gauge are full you can use generic combos that everyone or. Character specific combos like Gohan and Piccolo using masenko and destructive wave leads to a cool combo.

These games were so good. I felt sadness upon finishing each of them (attack of the saiyans and the legacy of goku).

Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury are the only genuinely good and enjoyable Dragon Ball games out there.

It's good, but it's easy when you get some heavy enough armbands and keep fighting lower level enemies. I did a speedrun and beat it around eleven hours back sometime in 2006. It still holds up.

AWESOME FUKING CONCEPT but ruined by the fact that it was released on the DS during a time when the touchscreen was fairly new, and so Ninty decided everyone needed to incorporate the touchscreen and stylus usage in their games. Seriously, this game could have been great.

It plays sort of like a Zelda game. I guess picture The Legacy of Goku games, but better, full 3D world, great adaptation of the original DB series, but it was absolutely godawful to actually play because of the shit controls. Oh how I wish DB Origins and it's sequel had been made for 3DS instead...

So much potential was flushed down the toilet all in the name of some shitty fucking gimmick.

As far as fighting games go, surprisingly, Dragon Ball Ultimate Butouden for DS was probably the best DB fighter of last gen (DS/PSP/PS3/360)...

DB FighterZ will probably beat it out though...

Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure for GBA was awesome... a great platformer, and would have been considered one of the best even on the SNES.

The objectively best game is the second one for the Gameboy.

I have a soft spot for the Freeza RPG on the NES though. It's basically a space simulator, but instead of ship-to-ship combat you train and beat the shit out of ayys.
