Only thing that comes to mind immediately is 3D platformers, which still don't have a full comeback but it's slowly getting there. The other genres I like still have good games coming around every once in a while.
There are specific series I want to come back but other games similar to said series are getting made.
I guess if old-school FPS games count as a subgenre then I'd like to see more of those.
