What do people REALLY enjoy about the fist one? I'm hesitant to buy it because everyone who talks about it always says something along the lines of "the combat is shit and the mechanics are shit but it has some kind of charm to it that makes it a good game."

Witcher 3 is a great game but it has problems.

Fallout 4 is a great game but it has problems.

If it's a game you're after and not some cheap foreign game of thrones movie knock off masquerading as a "video game", then i'd have to go with Fallout 4

didn't really mind the combat in 1 because the animations were pretty 5/5, besides it's not like the combat in 2/3 is in any way above average
