Human Revolution. It's the first game in chronological order, it's easier to get into it, it's casualized but will show you the concept behind original gameplay, it will introduce you to the lore, and it will intrigue you enough to play the rest of the series.
Pirate it, use ENB mod.

After you beat it, go for Mankind Divided if you want more of the same, or the original game if you think you're ready.

Save the best for last, you'll enjoy it much more.

Really either one. When I played HR it left me wanting more so I went to 1 and thought it was way better. I think HR is a great stepping stone to 1 if you haven't played 1 before.

I have no idea, it's probably the best part.
Still, I saw at least five different fuckers that somehow stopped playing there. And three of them were on this kindergarten of a board.
I swear, when you hear about someone that never completed Deus Ex (and went past Liberty Island), they almost always stopped playing in China.
