They probably will because that wasn't even the line. Tifa was comforting Barret and trying to convince herself that it wouldn't be much further. The american script was changed to try to make everything more 'engaging', like making Barret shout expletives every other line.

Most of the script changes will just be because they are keeping true to the Japanese script and people will hate them for it.
