MachineGames? Given their work with Wolfenstein, I think they're an alright fit.

Flying Wild Hog? Wasn't the biggest fan of Shadow Warrior 2013. Never played 2

People Can Fly? Bulletstorm was alright.

Arkane? Eh, they're a better fit with Deus Ex-likes

Doom 1 and 2 has some of the best level design of all time. Duke3d has some of the most annoying level design of all time. Doom guy wins and Quake guy would also be an acceptable answer

bad opinion, Duke 3D is a decent game but was actually pretty dated from day 1 considering it came out the same year as Quake.

Duke Nukem was better at the time because it used a more advanced version of the engine and had much more environmental interactivity.
However, the weapons and enemy roster of Duke 3D are much worse than Doom's, and as a result Doom has the far superior user content.

duke was better at the time because it came out a few years after doom, and soon after the release of duke 3d quake came out and it was an overall superior game except for the interactivity of the environment but the gameplay and graphics were a straight improvement
