Constantly use your aggro reduction tool so you never get the blue mark. Only second place in enmity get it. Unless you are comfortable doing the OT's job. If you do get the mark and she's in her aura form, virl or you will die.

After the second wave of confusion in the last phase refill your vril and use all 3 back to back. There's a stack up that will give you bleed and an aoe that will do 30k+ if you don't virl. Even if you do virl that aoe, if you have the bleed you may still die because it still does 16k and your HP is quickly being drained.

If you have spare vril, you can save yourself from death. If she doesn't have her aura, your vril will cause any of her attacks to heal you.

Is there much of a point to any sort of content/progression that isn't tomestone grinding? Crafting and gathering seem kind of cyclical; you craft to make money/scrips to get more crafting gear so you can craft better things that help you craft, where none of the things you craft really non-crafters? Money seems worthless if you don't care about glamour. The hunts seem like they're mostly about getting Materia? Which on paper sounds nice but so far I've managed to clear both EX primals without needing any with no problem. MGP is just for glamour stuff. Beast tribe stuff looks like it's for mounts

I don't know, I feel like there's a lot of stuff in XIV and none of it really amounts to much

There's a very small window for crafting that opens whenever a new raid patch drops, because usually recipes are added that are on par with/slightly better than gear going into the raid. If you can reliably craft HQ variants of this gear it sells for actual fortunes, but the market is vicious, the materials are a pain to get, and HQing is dubious unless you've got some decent crafting gear on you.
