Usually, the original F.E.A.R. is $2.49 on Steam during sales, but this sale is an exception. So if you only want the first game, try waiting until the next sale, and you might get it for $2.49. If you want all the games, or if you want the first game right now, you'll want to get the entire series on Bundle Stars. It's the Steam version anyway. The only difference is that, if you buy it from Bundle Stars, you can't get a Steam refund. But it's $4.99 for the entire series, whereas the equivalent bundle purchased directly from Steam is never less than $13.74.

I honestly can't recommend the sequels, because they're garbage compared to the original game. However, whatever you do, DO NOT pay $9.99 for the first game. Wait until it's $2.49 again, or get the $4.99 bundle.

Playing a first-person shooter on a console is retarded, and F.E.A.R. was a PC-to-console port, so the console version is absolutely inferior.
