This was my objectively favorite boss and I want them to get a Dream variant. While some bosses after it were good, there's just something about the Mantis Lords that felt so right.

Certainly took more than 1 try to down but at no point did I think it was being unfair. Pattern is very clear and requires good jumps to avoid damage, exactly what'd expect from the type of game. Felt super satisfying to beat, probably my favorite fight in the game.

The boss itself isn't the problem.

It's the bullshit confined space where you immediately get jumped by 2 dogs while your camera is still in an awkward position after just walking through the fog gate.

Once the dogs are dead that fight is easymode.
