ITT: games that gave you very unexpected and surprising feels

Dude I think we all knew the game would give us some feels

the only feels I got from this game was the irritation I got from the shitty controls. Although they weren't unexpected by any means.

I've been impressed by those "feels" games lately.

Both the Last of Us and The Last Guardian, I was convinced that the most obvious, dumb, and cheaply sentimental endings for them was that one of the pair dies, but then both games actually disregarded that in favor of endings that are still affecting.
