I dont really care about streaming tech.
When I'm at home I dont need to play on the portable part of the Switch, I just have a PC there.

When I'm outside I wont have internet on the Switch.

It feels pretty redundant to me until people figure out fast mobile internet without data caps.

I can't stand the input lag on my fucking television if I'm not using game mode, how the fuck would I be OK with streaming a game over the internet?
There's no way that input lag would be less than 40ms

Ignoring the fact that you most likely lagged like mad shit for the other players in Splatoon streaming games takes much more than just playing online.

And if you both stream a game AND play it online you will end up in shit city.
Like over wifi it should all work somewhat, but mobile connections arent there yet.

Unless you're an autistic gamer like most of /v/, the average user usually doesn't notice the slightest delay in most games. You most likely wouldn't notice the delay in an RPG, but in a fighting game it would be unbearable. It all depends on the person and game.

People will definitely notice input lag, but it will have to be a high number.
Like your average dude wont notice 100ms, but when you get into the 300ms+ territory even MMOs that are built for laggy play turn into a shitshow.

And man laggy RPGs arent fun. I remember when Final Fantasy 14 launched and it handled all menus through the servers. It took like 2-3 settings to open anything and it was the worst fucking experience.
Like sure, you will achieve what you want to do, but it will be hell.

Anybody that isn't in a vegetative state could spot the difference between 25ms and 50ms of input lag
