I never liked Halo's balance. At least power weapons like the sniper and the rocket launcher were semi balanced and had limited ammo, the fucking BR got a ton of bullets and was incredibly strong at close, mid, and long range. Shit was dumb.

Nobody who played 1.6 before likes CSGO.
Not even pros, they only play it because they get paid for it. Before valve shut down 1.6 tournaments and introduced microtransaction everyone hated csgo.

I myself placed a preorder and was really upset when the beta came out because the game felt like Left 4 Dead and was worse than source. Sure they did change some things since then but it's still a casual shooter at it's core.
Not to mention a terrible community of low life nerds that only started playing video games when hat fortress 2 went free to play.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone say Source is a better game, outside of custom game content (which Valve actually gave full support for in GO, it's just that people only play GO for comp matchmaking). I played a ton of Source and GO seemed harder to play than Source, the rifles seemed much harder to spam with in GO.

Granted I only ever played Source very casually and didn't really try until well into GO. I am bummed out that we never really got a CS 2, or got a new version of CS that actually dared to change shit up more than what we currently have.

I'd also like to add that these are sick because at the top level nobody expects you to kill more than one or two players.
CS turns into chess at this point with instakills as a punishment for your team's mistakes and this is what makes the game interesting.
Another reason why CSGO is bad is because 99% of people play for score and spend majority of their time on 24/7 deathmatch servers missing the point entirely.

I've seen fucking COUNTLESS faggots playing CSS on a full 32 man Dust2 24/7 server that will just set up at a bomb site with a deagle and an AWP and will just shoot fish in a barrel for hours. I played GO for a long fucking time on the East US and I almost never ran into foreigners, I started getting into Siege and I get the occasional RUS or BR and these people are honest subhumans.

Russians almost always speak too fucking loudly into their mics and they all have this weird, faking a deep manly voice tone to them. BRs are almost always super shitty to people and I had one spamming "NOOB TEAM" into all chat when he went 0 and 5. They also both like to scream shit in english that makes them sound nearly braindead.
